Gloria likes art because it helps her express herself mentally, spiritually and physically. “It gives me a quiet place to go sometimes,” she says. “I like the challenge of trying new mediums because it helps me grow in different directions.” Gloria has been doing her art since 2004. Her work leans toward the brighter colors of yellow, orange, red and blue. She also enjoys mixing colors, favoring light over shadows. Gloria wants people to know she is bi-polar and “if I can do art anybody can do it…it has to do with heart.”
